Participants to Get Free Puma Merchandise, Product Discounts at VerveLife 5.0

Fitness enthusiasts from Nigeria and beyond will have the opportunity to receive free Puma merchandise, product discounts, access to exclusive events and brand equity consolidation, among other benefits at the fifth edition of the annual VerveLife fitness event.
This has been made possible through the collaboration between the global sportswear brand and Africa’s leading payment technology and card brand, Verve for VerveLife 5.0.
“This partnership allows Puma to promote the brand in what is arguably Sub-Saharan Africa’s largest annual fitness event.
“We believe that fitness and sports have the power to transform and empower individuals and societies at Puma, which is why Verve life 5.0 is an ideal partner for us as their ‘Never Stop’ theme aligns with our brand mantra, Forever Faster,” the Marketing Coordinator of Puma Nigeria, Ladun Bamgbose, said.
Also, the Executive Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Interswitch Group, Ms Cherry Eromosele, while commenting on the partnership, said, “We are pleased to welcome Puma on board as one of our partners for VerveLife 5.0.

Similarly, the Group Head of Brands and Communications at Interswitch Group, Mr Tomi Ogunlesi, disclosed that Verve’s partnership with Puma underscores its determination to treat members of the VerveLife community to an enriching experience.

The build-up of events for VerveLife 5.0 kicked off recently, with satellite events in Uyo and Asaba. Other Nigerian cities billed to host VerveLife satellite events include Enugu, Port Harcourt, Benin, Ibadan, and Abuja, ahead of the highly anticipated grand finale in Lagos on November 5.
The fitness event is also expected to make its debut on the Kenyan scene, with its first event in Nairobi scheduled to hold in October.

On Saturday, July 18, 2026, Team Drogba Global Africa claimed its first E1 victory in Monaco, moving to sixth on the table with 59 points.
It defeated Team Brady, which came second over the week, though it leads the championship with 119 points, nine points more than the second on the log, Westbrook Racing by Visit Angola.
Kiwi Micah Wilkinson and his Spanish teammate Tara Pacheco combined to put together a memorable performance and secure a long-awaited first visit to the top step.
Drogba’s best result of the season so far had been seventh in Lake Como, but something clicked in the Principality, and the victory has moved them up to sixth overall.
Home heroes Team Monaco had set the fastest time in qualifying and were leading the way, but they made a wrong turn on the course, which consigned them to join Westbrook in the Place Race. Will Smith’s team took a damage-limiting victory, leaving them in seventh at the end of the day.

E1 now heads to its first foray in Southern Africa for the E1 Luanda GP 2026, Angola, on September 12 to 13.

Ferran Torres put the only goal of the match in the back of the South American’s net in the 106th minute after both teams could not settle scores in normal time.
