Mo Sallah to Quit Liverpool After Nine Years
By Dipo Olowookere
Liverpool legend, Mohammed Sallah, has announced his intention to leave the Merseyside club at the end of this season.
In a message to the fans on Tuesday, the Egyptian player thanked the club for the support and affection shown to him since he arrived at Anfield nine years ago.
Sallah, who has netted 189 times for Liverpool in 310 appearances so far, said, “This club will always be my home to me and to my family.”
He relished his time at the Reds, noting that he never thought he would leave at this period.
The former Roma and Chelsea player has struggled with form this season, as he has not been able to impress Anne Slot, who has had to bench him in some matches. He has only managed 10 goals in 34 games this season for the club.
“Hello everyone, unfortunately, the day has come. This is the first part of my farewell. I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
“I wanted to start by saying that I never imagined how deeply this club, this city, these people would become part of my life.
“Liverpool is not just a football club, it’s a passion, it’s a history, it’s a spirit. I can’t explain in words to anyone not part of this club.
“We celebrated victory, we won the most important trophies, and we fought together through the hardest time in our lives.
“I want to thank everyone who was part of this club throughout my time here, especially the teammates, past and present.
“And to the fans, I don’t have enough words. The support you showed me through the best time of my career, and you stood by me in the toughest times. It’s something I will never forget and something I will take with me always.
“Leaving is never easy. You gave me the best time of my life. I will always be one of you.
“This club will always be my home to me and to my family,” the 33-year-old former African Footballer of the Year said in a video on Tuesday night.

The Role of the NBA G League in Talent Development
The NBA G League serves as the official developmental league for the National Basketball Association. Speaking about the NBA, a great bet on it is always available at the 1xBet platform.
It functions as a crucial pathway for players, coaches, and other basketball professionals aiming to reach the highest level of the sport. Originally launched as the NBA Development League (D-League) in 2001, it was rebranded as the G League in 2017 through a partnership with Gatorade. At 1xBet it is always possible to bet on other big basketball competitions too.
It has then steadily expanded and deepened its impact across 31 teams, with 30 directly affiliated with NBA franchises, creating a structured system for talent cultivation and evaluation.
Offering a great experience to many players
At its core, the G League offers valuable competitive experience to a wide range of players. Prior to the next big NBA names playing their matches, you can choose 1xBet casino and enjoy its excellent games.
Young prospects who are not yet NBA-ready get meaningful playing time against professional competition. This helps them develop fundamentals and adjust to the pace and physicality of pro basketball. NBA teams commonly assign their draft picks or signees to G League affiliates to do 3 things:
- fine-tune skills;
- gain confidence;
- and learn team systems.
A good reason to choose the 1xBet casino is to enjoy endless fun as you wait for other basketball matches.
Providing a developmental pathway
Beyond traditional assignments, the introduction of 2-way contracts has strengthened the developmental pipeline. These contracts allow players to split time between an NBA roster and a G League team. This enables prospects to receive consistent minutes in the G League while earning chances to contribute at the NBA level. This dual exposure helps teams evaluate talent in varied contexts and makes the transition to the NBA smoother for developing players. Before another NBA game takes place, you can also try plinko game online from the 1xBet platform.
The league also fosters alternatives to college basketball and international pathways. For example, programs like G League Ignite provide elite prospects with professional mentorship, advanced training, and exposure to NBA scouts before draft eligibility. This showcases another avenue for growth outside the NCAA system.
Finally, in addition to player development, the G League cultivates coaching staffs, referees, and front-office personnel, serving as a broader professional incubator. The online plinko game from 1xBet is available to try, which is perfect to do while waiting for great basketball games.

Why Cross-Platform Gaming Is Becoming a Competitive Advantage
A player may start on one device and continue on another later. People now expect that freedom. They do not want to stay tied to one screen. That is why cross-platform gaming matters. It makes games easier to play and easier to come back to.
Access Shapes Modern Habits
People move between devices all the time. Work happens on one screen. Messages arrive on another. People play games at different times during the day. If a game works on many devices, it is easier to play. It is easier to come back to as well. This helps people keep playing Aviator bet online, and the reviews are positive.
The Old Barriers Look Bigger Now
Years ago, players accepted limits more easily. A PC game stayed on PC. A console game stayed on console. Mobile was its own world. It still exists, but it does not feel as normal now. People notice the barrier faster now. If friends can play together on different systems in one game, they start asking why another game does not allow it. Compatibility is no longer a bonus feature in many cases.
Retention Often Depends On Convenience
A game may get attention at first, but it lasts when it is easy to come back to. Cross-platform support helps here in a direct way. If progress carries across devices, players have more chances to stay connected. They can jump in when time allows, not only when the “right” device is nearby. The easier it is to come back, the less likely the game is to drift out of someone’s life.
Compatibility Reduces Friction
Friction is one of those problems people feel before they name it. It appears in small ways. A login that does not sync. Progress that stays trapped on one machine. A friend list that splits by platform. A match system that keeps groups apart. None of these issues may seem fatal on its own. Together, though, they make a game feel less flexible and less generous. Cross-platform design makes things easier. When a game feels smooth, people are more likely to keep playing.
Smaller Games Can Benefit Too
It is easy to think this advantage belongs only to huge games with large budgets. That is not always true. Smaller studios can benefit in a sharp way from cross-platform design. They often need every player to count. If the audience is split too many ways, the game may feel empty faster. Cross-platform support can help keep matchmaking healthy and communities visible. For a smaller title, that can make the difference between a steady life and a quick decline.
Players Notice When Progress Follows Them
There is a quiet pleasure in opening a game on another device and seeing everything still there. The same account. The same unlocks. The same progress. It feels easy. The player can keep going without starting again. That matters. Progress syncing helps build trust. It tells people their time has value. In a crowded market, that message can strengthen loyalty.
Growth Is Not Only About New Users
A lot of talk about growth focuses on attracting fresh players. That is only half the picture. Real growth also depends on keeping current players engaged for longer. Cross-platform support helps because people can play more easily in daily life.
A player who cannot sit at a console one week may still check in on a handheld or mobile device. That continued link can stop a short break from becoming a permanent exit.
Communities Stay Healthier When They Are Not Split
A divided audience creates hidden problems. Matchmaking slows down. Social spaces feel thinner. Competitive scenes can weaken. Even the mood of a game can change when too many people are spread across separate pools. Cross-platform systems help avoid that.
They bring players into shared spaces instead of fragmenting them. That shared space can improve queue times, raise activity, and keep conversation alive. In competitive games, it can also support fairer ranking systems by drawing from a larger base.
There Are Challenges, Of Course
None of this means cross-platform support is simple. Different devices have different control schemes, power limits, and technical demands. Balancing those differences can be hard. A match between mobile and PC players may raise questions about fairness.
Updates must work across more than one system. Support teams must handle more cases. These are real challenges. Still, many developers now see them as worth solving because the long-term advantage is hard to ignore.
Expectation Is Turning Into Pressure
What begins as a nice feature often becomes an expectation over time. That is happening here. Players are getting used to connected progress, shared communities, and device flexibility. Once they experience it in one strong game, they start wanting it elsewhere. This creates pressure on studios that still design around closed systems. A game can still do well without it, but it may be harder to keep players interested.
