The Copa Libertadores de América

Image

The Copa Libertadores de América is a continental football competition organized by CONMEBOL, which is the football confederation from South America. The competition was held for the first time in 1960. Back then it was called Copa de Campeones de América (Champions of América Cup). This competition is available at 1xbet.com.gh – betting sites in Ghana, where lots of betting options can be enjoyed.

In 1965, the tournament adopted the name “Libertadores” (liberators in English) in honour of the leaders of the Spanish-American and Brazilian wars of independence in South America. This is the name for which it became well known in South America and the rest of the world. The betting sites in 1xBet Ghana is the best place to wager on this exciting competition.

A history with a lot of changes

The tournament has had different formats since its inception. During its first editions, only the champions of each local South American league participated in the cup. However, in 1996 it was decided to allow the runner-ups to also take part in it. Right now, this competition is available for betting at the 1xbet.com.gh/live website.

In 1998, the Mexican football teams were invited to compete and participated regularly until 2016. In 2017 they withdrew from the tournament for failing to adjust to the new calendar approved for the following years. In 2000 the tournament expanded once again, allowing participation of more teams. Each league decided how they would qualify. This gave lots of new options to bet at the 1xBet website.

Participation from all the continent

Unlike the UEFA Champions League, here teams from all the 10 CONMEBOL countries participate in the competition. Normally, they are arranged into different groups, whose teams later go on to face a knockout stage. This group stage has been modified on numerous occasions. The 1xBet app allows to wager on all the matches of the competition. Those who claim the trophy can later participate in instances such as:

  • the Recopa Sudamericana;
  • and the Club World Cup.

Between 1969 and 1998 the champion disputed the Inter-American Cup with the winner of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. And also from 1993 to 1996, the champion played the Gold Cup with the winner of the South American Super Cup, the champion of the Conmebol Cup, and the champion of the Super Cup Master Cup (later replaced by the Conmebol Master Cup). Between 1998 and 2016, the Mexican clubs participated in the continental competition with notable performances. However, they were unable to claim the title at any of these finals.

As those who obtain the app 1xBet can see, usually teams from Argentina and Brazil are the ones with the most titles in this tournament.

How to Trade Gold in Nigeria

Gold has traditionally been seen as a way to store your money. It’s not affected directly by either fiscal policy or monetary policy of governments and central banks like currencies. It will always be worth something – unlike a currency that can end up being almost worthless as a result of rapid inflation, for instance. That’s why whether it’s in the uptrend or in the downtrend, the gold market offers high liquidity and excellent profit-making opportunities due to its unique position within the world’s economic and political systems. By Jerome-Mario Utomi From the dripping political and socioeconomic events in the country, it is abundantly obvious that the defective nature of the nation’s 1999 Constitution (as amended) that has discouraged and crippled development in the country is responsible for the mirage of problems confronting the nation. Its weak provisions have more than anything else conspired with other socioeconomic challenges to make it possible for us as a nation to keep ‘‘doing the same thing over and over again and expects a different result.” Take as an instance, when one takes a cursory look at insecurity in the country which
