The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) will on Thursday, August 11, 2016, hold a seminar in Benin City, Edo State on consumer protection.
This programme, Business Post correspondent gathered, is aimed at educating consumers on their rights and how such can be protected under the law.
It is no news that not much has been done by service providers in the country as regards giving quality services to their customers.
The Thursday’s programme is the 77th edition of NCC’s Consumer Outreach Programme (COP) and it will take place at the Uyi Grand Hotel Event Centre, 35 Aideyan Street, GRA, Benin City, Edo State by 11:00am.
The theme of the event is “Information and Education as a catalyst for Consumer Protection”.
Questions would be entertained at the conference.
