The offices of Kabo Airlines, Monaco Ventures Limited and Paki International Motors, all in Kano, have been sealed by the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS).
The offices of the above firms were sealed by the tax agency due to over tax liabilities close to N200 million.
It was gathered that the companies owe the FIRS as far back as 2004.
Kabo Airlines specifically owes N149.7 million from the assessment year of 2004 to 2013 and it is made up of Income Tax and Education Tax.
A statement issued by the service quoted head of the enforcement team in Kano, Mr Bukar Gana, as saying that the airline did not contest the liabilities, an action which led to the sealing of its premises on Ashton Road, Kano State.
On the part of Paki International Motors, it owes Income Tax of N51.2 million, which was accumulated between 2008 and 2014.
The FIRS team also visited the premises of Monaco Ventures Limited over an Education Tax debt of N385,922.
