The management of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) has disclosed that it would not be able to file its audited report for the period ended June 30, 2017 this month.
A statement signed by the lender’s Group Chief Financial Officer, Mr Greg Davis, said the financial results would be submitted to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday, August 24, 2017.
“As communicated at the presentation of the full year results for 2016, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) results for the period ended June 30, 2017 will be subject to audit by ETI’s statutory auditors,” the company said in the statement.
“Consequently, ETI announces a delay to the publishing of these results.
“ETI will therefore publish its results for the period ended June 30, 2017 on Thursday, August 24, 2017,” the bank said.
“ETI apologizes for any inconvenience caused. An analysts and investor conference call to discuss the financial results will be held on the same day,” Ecobank concluded.
