This raised the market capitalisation of the platform by N17.73 billion to N1.962 trillion from the N1.940 trillion it ended in the preceding week, as the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) appreciated by 30.28 points to 3,351.19 points from the 3,320.91 points recorded in the previous week.
In the week, there were 15 price movers, with 10 going to the green side and five heading to the red region.
The price gainers were led by Food Concepts Plc with a 20.3 per cent appreciation to close at N2.13 per share versus N1.77 per share, Newrest Asl Plc gained 9.9 per cent to settle at N41.76 per unit versus N37.97 per unit, Mixta Real Estate Plc grew by 9.9 per cent to N6.60 per share from N5.51 per share, NASD Plc expanded by 9.6 per cent to N25.72 per unit from N23.39 per unit, and Acorn Petroleum Plc appreciated by 9.4 per cent to N1.28 per share from N1.17 per share.
Further, AG Mortgage Bank Plc increased by 8.4 per cent to 90 Kobo per unit from 83 Kobo per unit, Nipco Plc rose by 6.7 per cent to N227.42 per share from N212.77 per share, Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc added 5.8 per cent to end at N30.68 per unit versus N29.00 per unit, Okitipupa Plc jumped by 1.3 per cent to N221.87 per share from N219.00 per share, and Paintcom Investment Plc advanced by 0.09 per cent to N10.75 per unit from N10.74 per unit.
On the flip side, Air Liquide Plc slipped by 9.4 per cent to N9.03 per share from N9.97 per share, UBN Property Plc declined by 9.3 per cent to N2.03 per unit from N2.26 per unit, Friesland Campina Wamco Nigeria Plc shed 8.4 per cent to N63.57 per share from N69.38 per share, Geo-Fluids Plc dropped 6.6 per cent to quote at N3.95 per unit versus N4.23 per unit, and Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) Plc slumped by 2.8 per cent to 35 Kobo per share from 36 Kobo per share.
In the week, the most traded stock by value was Paintcom Investment Plc with N630.6 million, followed by FrieslandCampina Wamco with N21.5 million, Okitipupa Plc recorded N10.9 million, CSCS Plc traded N6.5 million, and Nipco Plc reported N3.5 million.
At the close of transactions, the total value of trades rose by 499.2 per cent to N677.8 million from N113.1 million, and the volume of transactions surged by 2,426.8 to 61.7 million units from 2.44 million units.
