It is safe to say that the award-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter and performer Patoranking is having a great year.
Fresh off releasing his new album ‘God Over Everything’, Patoranking took on an East African tour this past week to promote his anticipated debut album.
While in East Africa this year, he has already met and collaborated with Tanzanian pop princess Vanessa Mdee of the “Niroge” fame. The two will be produced by South African producer Maphorisa and are expected to feature on Coke Studio Africa season 4.
Arriving in Kenya a day after his Dar Es Saalam listening party, Patoranking was received well by Kenyan media as he launched the album at Uptown Grill.
Speaking on the new release, he said, “You could have all the money or cars in the world but you can’t do anything without God. I am a product of my environment, that’s how I make music and how this album was born.”
Patoranking also mentioned Wizkid, Phyno and Sarkodie as some of the big names he has also collaborated with in the new album.
