An interactive session where subscribers of DStv meet with the company to address issues affecting them moved to the Egbeda/Dopemu area of Lagos State recently.
The initiative by MultiChoice Nigeria, the parent company of the payTV tagged DStv Customer Forum, was established to get first-hand information from subscribers on services rendered to them, so as to be able to serve them better.
At the forum were representatives of DStv, dealers, sales agents and subscribers. The meeting was no holds barred.
During the session, subscribers thanked the company for improved services, but asked for more from them.
Notable among the issues raised and addressed at the forum were signal loss especially during stormy weather, subscription payment and reconnection, customer care services, and other hardware related issues.
Responding, Public Relations Manager of DStv, Mrs Caroline Oghuma, told the gathering that, “We are aware that our subscribers do encounter some challenges with our services and it is for that reason we organize this forum from time to time to meet with them and get direct feedback.
“We also use the platform to introduce new products and services to them, thereby keeping them up-to-date with the latest innovation from DStv.”
She disclosed that the call centre hours for customer care services have been extended to accommodate more queries.
She further said DStv would continue to provide better services to its subscribers and thanked them for their loyalty to the company.
