Greenstreet Retires from Diamond Bank

Mr Ian Greenstreet has retired from the board of Diamond Bank Plc, the financial institution has disclosed.

Mr Greenstreet retired from the firm with effect from August 1, 2017, a statement signed by the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser, Uzoma Uja, revealed.

During his time at the bank, Mr Greenstreet was an Independent non-Executive Director of Diamond Bank.

“We write to notify the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) that Mr Ian Greenstreet has retired as an Independent non-Executive Director of Diamond Bank with effect from August 1, 2017.

“The retirement was accepted by the board of directors of the lender.

“We request that you kindly update your records accordingly,” the statement dated August 3, 2017, said.

Mr Greenstreet, who joined Diamond Bank in 2011, is an Investment Banker and recognised world expert in financial risk.

He is considered by many as one of the world’s leading Risk Management professionals.

Mr Greenstreet, a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales) holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science & Accounting from the University of Manchester.
