A 32-year-old female banker based in Lagos identified as Ms Amarachi Ugochukwu has reportedly ended it all by herself.

The deceased was said to have gulped a popular insecticide after she felt things were not working well for her, according to a suicide note she reportedly left behind at the scene of the incident.

Before her death on Wednesday, she was an employee of Globus Bank and worked in the marketing department of the company in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that her lifeless body was found in the staff toilet of the bank by one of her colleagues, who raised an alarm.

“Nothing is working in my life, my figures are low, my brain is clogged up; the economy is getting harder, my decisions are wrong, my mind is messed up.

“The future doesn’t seem bright at all, I see extreme hardship. I can’t bear the pain anymore.

“I’m sorry mum, I’m sorry dad, I’m sorry Nene, Okwe, Toto Nazor, Chuchu, Ifunanya.

“Dear Lord, have mercy on me!” her suicide note read.

Meanwhile, Globus Bank is yet to make a statement on the issue at the time of filing this report.
