A fully certified organic food store, with an extensive and complete range of foods, and personal care products, has opened in Lagos. The new company is called A New Earth.

Business Post correspondent reports that the firm maintains the strictest quality standards in the industry, and is rigorously committed to sustainable agriculture.

A New Earth is a boutique supermarket that first opened its doors on July 1, 2009, in Beirut, Lebanon and has since pioneered all things organic for the past seven years.

According to information further gathered, A New Earth thrives to seek out the finest organic foods available, by purchasing products for retail sale from local, regional, as well as international wholesale suppliers and vendors.

It also strives in personalized service and values its role as the leading educational hub, Business Post further learnt.

According to the mission statement of A New Earth, “We are convinced about the benefits of buying and eating organic food, as well as using chemical-free beauty products.”

A New Earth says all the products it sells “must meet our rigorous standards.”

The company highlighted that these “rigorous standards” starts from the “basic ingredients to farm animal welfare, seafood sustainability, body care, cleaning products and more,” assuring customers that “we do the research so you can shop with peace of mind and fulfilled health.”

A New Earth provides certified organic products and specialty items such as raw food, gluten-free, vegan, low-sodium and low-fat items, as well as a selection for baby care, including foods and related products, the firm said.

Julius Berger Records 8% Growth in H1’19 Post-Tax Profit

By Adedapo Adesanya Nigeria’s top construction entity, Julius Berger, has released its consolidated unaudited statement for half year (H1) of 2019 and analysis by Business Post Nigeria indicated that the company recorded a higher profit than it did in the first half of 2018. The construction company said it made a profit after tax of N2.8 billion, higher than N2.6 billion it declared in H1 2018, representing a 7.7 percent increase.
