Business Post has confirmed that the new enlarged Access Bank brand will officially commence full operations on Monday, April 1, 2019.
This was confirmed by the CEOs of Access Bank and Diamond Bank, Mr Herbert Wigwe and Mr Uzoma Dozie respectively.
In a joint statement signed by the duo after shareholders of the two lenders approved the merger between them, it was said that customers will now begin to enjoyed better services.

In the fourth edition of Together for You, we’re delighted to announce we have secured shareholder approvals for our merger.
Following receipt of High Court permission and SEC and CBN regulatory approvals, the merger between Access Bank and Diamond Bank will proceed as planned. At this stage, we expect to launch the new enlarged Access brand and officially start operating as one business on April 1, 2019.
