UBA to Carry Out Service Maintenance on Sunday

Pan-African financial institution, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, has announced that it would conduct a service maintenance in the wee hours of Sunday, May 5, 2019.

The exercise, according to a notice sent to the bank’s customers on Saturday, May 04, 2019, will last one and half hours.

Business Post gathered that the service maintenance is mainly “an infrastructure upgrade” aimed to enable the lender serve its customers better and seamlessly.

As a result of this exercise, some services rendered by the bank will be impacted during this maintenance period.

However, few of them like its ATMs and POS terminals will be fully functional.

“In order to ensure that we continuously provide seamless services on all our platforms, we will be carrying out an infrastructure upgrade between the hours of 01am (GMT +1) and 02H30am (GMT + 1) on Sunday, May 05, 2019.

“Consequently, some services will be impacted during this maintenance period but all our ATMs and POS terminals will be fully functional,” the notice seen by Business Post said.

Meanwhile, the management of UBA has apologised for “any inconveniences this may cause and thank you for your kind understanding.”

FAO Food Price Index Remains Unchanged in November
