UBA Upgrades Internet, Mobile Banking Platforms

United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has announced carrying out an infrastructure upgrade of its mobile banking and internet platforms.

A notice from the financial institution to its customers on Saturday explained that the upgrade is mainly to ensure users enjoy seamless service.

It was disclosed by the lender that the system upgrade would take place “between the hours of 12 am (GMT +1) and 3 am (GMT + 1) on Sunday, March 17, 2019.”

UBA said as a result of the exercise, some services will consequently be impacted during this maintenance period, apologising for any inconveniences this may cause them.

“Dear customer, in order to ensure we continue to provide seamless service on all our platforms, we will be carrying out an infrastructure upgrade between the hours of 12 am (GMT +1) and 3 am (GMT + 1) on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

“Some services will consequently be impacted during this maintenance period.

“We apologise for any inconveniences this may cause and thank you for your kind understanding,” the notice seen by Business Post, said.
