A payment gateway solution called The Developer Console to help business owners solve issues around collection, settlement and reporting of funds has been created by Interswitch Group.

The new product, which will enable seamless payments, will allow users create powerful tools and products, and provide self-service integration, giving developers the ability to access Interswitch product APIs, authentication parameters, sandbox, production keys, documentation and seamless project management.

Before now, integrating with Interswitch APIs (developer console) has been relatively complex for years now, largely because of the complexity of the APIs, lack of well-defined documentation, poor developer experience, and support.

However, in 2020, a variety of new offerings and updates vastly expanded the APIs, making 2020 the year to finally integrate seamlessly to the Interswitch APIs.

To put users through the new initiative, the leading technology-driven company focused on the digitisation of payments in Nigeria and other countries in Africa, will organise a webinar on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

A statement from the company said Software Engineers at Interswitch; Abdul-Hafiz Ibrahim and Edidiong Asikpo will moderate the session.

They will discuss extensively on how to register as a business, supported features and how to receive money on the payment gateway through diverse channels such as the website, mobile SDK, API, Payment Links and Invoices.

Business owners who want to integrate onto the Payment Gateway will be required to register to join the webinar.

To use the developer console, users will be required to create an account to get started by clicking the Get Started button on the Developer Console homepage to create an account.

Thereafter, they will have to create a project by clicking on the Create Project button at the bottom left of the developer console by adding the required information and then click on the Create button.

After the above step, with the newly created project credentials, users will now have access to all Interswitch APIs on the Developer Console in test mode and then click on the Permissions tab to select the APIs that meet their projects’ needs and save changes.

Afterwards, they will have to click on the Toggle to Go-Live switch at the top right of the developer console to get their live credentials on which the requested APIs will be granted access if approved.
