The management of Cornerstone Insurance Plc has announced closing two of its branch offices in Kaduna State and Calabar in Cross River State.
In a statement issued to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) last week, the insurer disclosed that, “The businesses that were being handled at these (closed) locations will now be handled by other Cornerstone branches.”
The affected branch offices include the one located at NM 20, Constitution Road, Kaduna State and the one at Cybermul Plaza (2nd Floor) 135, Ndidem Usang Iso Road, Calabar, Cross River State.
Also, the insurance company said it was merging two of its branches in Lagos into one. It said in the statement that the branch at Surulere in Lagos has been merged with the one in Ikeja, the state capital.
“The company’s Surulere branch situated at 115, Bode Thomas Street, Surulere, Lagos has been merged with our Ikeja branch situated at Swiss Guard House, 6, Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Opposite Wahum, Ikeja.
“All the company’s businesses that were previously handled at the Surulere branch will now be done at Ikeja branch,” the firm said.
In the same vein, Cornerstone Insurance said it has relocated its branch in Kano State to another area of the ancient town.
The Kano branch office, which used to be at Plot C12&12, Race Course, Kano State, has now be moved to 103, Hadejia Road, Kano State.
Cornerstone Insurance explained that it took this step “in order to be closer to and better serve our customers.”
