FG Appoints Oseni As NERFUND Acting MD

The General Manager and Chief Risk Officer of Bank of Industry (BoI), Dr Ezekiel Oseni, has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director of National Economic Reconstruction Fund (NERFUND).

The appointment of Dr Oseni was announced on Wednesday via a circular signed by Dr Mahmoud Isa-Dutse, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance.

The circular, which was obtained by Business Post, disclosed that the appointment of Dr Oseni was approved by the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun.

“His appointment which takes immediate effect was made under a Management Agreement between the Federal Ministry of Finance and Bank of Industry,” the circular stated.

It further disclosed that the Acting MD has the “mandate amongst others to reposition the organisation and to ensure that all outstanding indebtedness are recovered.”

Until his recent appointment, Dr Oseni was a General Manager and Chief Risk Officer at the Bank of Industry.
