On Thursday, January 14, 2021, one of the major players in the nation’s capital market, Meristem Securities Limited, will hold a webinar to discuss the outlook for the economy and the market this year.
The event, to be held virtually via Zoom, a popular video conferencing platform, which gained a huge prominence last year as a result of the lockdown imposed by most countries to curb the spread of COVID-19, will kick-off by 10am.
Business Post gathered that the 2021 Economic and Market Outlook is tagged Bracing for a Different Future and will feature some experts on the panel.
Meristem, which said the outbreak of COVID-19 impacted economies and disrupted businesses across the globe, has advised investors to participate in the webinar to enable them to get an insight into 2021 to make quality investment decisions.

The event, to be moderated by Ms Ifunanya Obiorah, an investment adviser at Meristem, will have Mr David Adu, an Investment Research Analyst at Meristem; Mr Ahmed Jinad, the Head of Investment Research at Meristem; and Mr Sulaiman Adedekun, the Deputy Group Deputy Managing Director of Meristem on the panel.
Meristem, located in Lagos, is a brokerage firm with Mr Oluwole Abegunde as the Group Managing Director. The firm offers mergers and acquisitions, divestiture, restructuring, valuation, and debt and equity capital raising advisory services.
