Shareholders of Mixta Real Estate Plc, also known as Mixta Africa, will receive a dividend of N12.60 per share on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, following approval at the company’s 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The dividend marks the company’s return to dividend payments and will be paid to shareholders whose names appeared on the company’s register as of September 2, 2026.

The approval was given at the AGM held in Lagos, where shareholders also approved the company’s audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025.

The financial statements showed a significant increase in property sales during the year, with revenue from the sale of trading properties rising to N42.7 billion from N15 billion in 2024.

Despite the stronger property sales, profit after tax declined slightly to N22.1 billion from N23.6 billion recorded in the preceding year.

During the year, Mixta Africa said it delivered 152 homes across its Ibudo Wura development in Lagos and Marula Park, contributing to its efforts to expand access to housing.

The company also said some eligible homebuyers were able to secure mortgage financing at an interest rate of 9.75 per cent through the Ministry of Finance Incorporated Real Estate Investment Fund.

Established in 2005, Mixta Africa is a pan-African real estate development company with operations across Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Mauritania and Côte d’Ivoire.

The company said it has delivered more than 30,000 homes across Africa since its establishment.

Its Nigerian portfolio includes Lakowe Lakes Golf & Country Estate, Beechwood Estate along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Fara Park in Sangotedo, Lagos, Expressview Estate in Lugbe, Abuja, and Garden City Golf Annexe in Port Harcourt.

Mixta, which trades on the NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange, said it remains focused on developing affordable and sustainable communities as it works to address Africa’s housing deficit.
