Bandits Kídnap School Girls in Kebbi, Kíll Vice Principal

A mass abduction has reportedly occurred at the Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School (GGCSS) in Maga, Kebbi State.

The attack was said to have been carried out by some bandits, who raided the school and kílled the school’s vice principal, Mr Hassan Makuku, while trying to protect the female students.

According to reports, the schoolgirls were forcefully taken by the terrorists on Sunday night. Over 20 of the students were taken away.

It was said that the bandits operated without resistance and caused widespread panic, throwing the entire region into deep fear and mourning.

Confirming the incident, the Kebbi State Police Public Relations Officer, Nafiu Abubakar, said 25 students were abducted, whole the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr Umar Tafida, has been asked by Governor Nasir Idris, to visit the school.
