Federal University Lokoja Students to Honour Olaogun

On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, all roads will lead to the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State, for an event organised by the institution’s chapter of the National Association of Ebira Students (NAES) to honour Mr Tunde Olaogun.

In a letter addressed to the honouree, the students explained that they decided to bestow the honour on the politician because of his “outstanding support for students as from your personality and kin audience rendered to the above association.”

It was stated that at a ceremony scheduled to begin from 9 am tomorrow, Mr Olaogun will be presented with an Award of Excellence, according to the invitation seen by Business Post.

In the letter jointly signed by Mr Umar Adavize Abdulwali and Mr Abdullahi Abdullahi, the president and the general secretary of the group respectively, it was disclosed that the event will take place at the auditorium of the school’s Adankolo Campus.

The presentation of the award to the philanthropist is part of activities marking the Ebira Cultural Day. There would be lecture series, cultural display, entertainment, showcasing of entrepreneur potentials of Ebira students and others.

NAES is an association of Ebira students in both private and federal institutions across Nigeria. The group has a very strong base both at home and abroad.

Mr Olaogun, on his part, is a respected politician who is loved by his people because of his love for them. He has carried out various empowerment programmes for the youths, irrespective of their political, religious and social leanings.
