A statement issued on Friday by the Head of the Directorate of Public Relations of FUNAAB, Emi Alawode, disclosed the decision to recall the sacked workers was taken following series of appeals from within and outside the university community.
In the statement signed by its Acting Registrar and Secretary, Mr Obafemi Oginni, the council directed each of the 23 lecturers to send a letter of appeal to the Secretary, Council Committee on Investigation of the Lingering Industrial Unrest and Tension, Acting Registrar’s Office between Friday, December 16 and Monday, December 19, 2016.
