Heritage Bank Unveils Dual Internet-based Products for Schools

In its contribution to the different levels in the educational sector along with making strides in the financial sector, Heritage Bank Plc has rolled out two internet-based solutions for the cadre of schools and alumni.

The two products known as Acada School Portal Solution and Alumni Banking Service are designed with the aim of leveraging the power of networking to help schools strengthen social and financial futures.

The firm said the Acada School Portal Solution is a web application developed on the portals of schools to enhance the administrations and operations of primary and secondary schools in a variety of ways.

It also eases and alleviates the need for physical presence in the interaction between schools, teachers, students (prospective, current, and alumni), and guardians.

On the other hand, the Alumni Banking Service is an educational product that tracks, engages, endows and invests models to help secondary and tertiary educational institutions create modern alumni systems that contribute to their financial stability.

The value of these two innovations was further explained by the Divisional Head, Product Management and Inclusive Banking, Heritage Bank, Mr Dike Dimir, at the Alumni Banking community meeting held in Port Harcourt.

According to him, the Alumni Banking by Heritage Bank is moduled in a more cohesive structure to help the participants initiate, expand and maintain an alumni portal for current and past students.

He also said that the alumni product primarily offers two services on the platform, which are the community and the marketplace which students will benefit from.

“The product is built on tapping into the power of networking to help schools build secure social and financial futures with the belief that a school’s current and past students are its greatest asset,” he added.

Speaking at the meeting, the Divisional Head, E-Business & Collections, Mrs Olusola Longe-Okenimkpe, encouraged guardians and parents to take advantage of the Acada product.

She said that as the academic session is about to commence, the solution has high value for school management as it facilitates online applications for new pupils, pupil registration, and timetable management.

According to her, the solution will also encourage assignment management, classes, and class arms management, result and promotion management, ID Card generation, accessing class notes, document download, and newsletter subscription
