Chairman of Lagos State Teaching Service Commission, Mrs Elizabeth Olabisi Ariyo, thanked the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the recruitment, saying that it will contribute immensely to the education sector in the State.
She explained that the new entrants have shown the desire and zeal to join the pool of productive and efficient teachers across the state, observing that “this set of successful candidates have gone through the required screening process, oral interviews and micro-teaching exercise where they have been found eligible for the role.”
Mrs Ariyo affirmed that the standard of education is mostly determined by the quality of teachers in the system, as such the state government has demonstrated its commitment to improving every aspect of the sector.
While congratulating the newly employed teachers, the Chairman encouraged them to give their best to the profession and ultimately be good role models for students.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the commission, Mrs Toyin Idowu Awoseyi, emphasised the present administration’s focus on ensuring that students across the State get the best hands to impact and tutor them to success.
