Amosun Swears-in Commissioner, Chief of Staff, HoS

On Monday, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State sworn-in Mrs Adepeju Adebajo as the Commissioner for Agriculture.

During a brief ceremony held at the Executive Council Chambers of the Governor’s office in Abeokuta, Mr Amosun also sworn-in Mr Abayomi Sobande as the 16th Head of Service, while Mr Tolu Odeyemi took oath of office as the Governor’s Chief of Staff.

In his charge, Mr Amosun urged the appointees to brace up for the task ahead in uniting the state.

“I want you to see your appointment as one to unite the entire state,” the Governor said, while enjoining them to create and provide a good ambience for the public and civil service as well as the entire people of the state.

He also urged them to contribute their wealth of knowledge and experience to the development of the state in line with the administration’s five cardinal programs.

Governor Amosun advised them to come up with ideas and innovations that will add value to his rebuilding mission, saying that their appointment is a call to service.

Speaking with journalists after the swearing in, the new appointees promised to complement the efforts of the Mr Amosun-led administration in moving the state to an enviable height among the comity of states in the country.

They appreciated the Governor for counting them worthy to serve while pledging to use their experiences to provide quality leadership.
