The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has elected its candidate for the November 26, 2016 governorship election in the state.
He is the immediate past Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN).
Mr Jegede emerged winner of the PDP primary held on Monday, August 22, 2016, at the International Cultural and Event Centre (The Dome), Akure, the state capital.

He promised to stay focus on the economy during his campaigns.
