Lagos Police Parades Captured Billionaire Kidnapper

A very rich and influential kidnapper living in Lagos, Mr Chukwudi Dumeme Onuamadike fondly called Evans, has been paraded by police in Lagos.
Evans, a native of Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, was shown to the media on Sunday afternoon by the Joint Special Forces led by the Intelligence Response Team, the Lagos State Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit and Technical and Intelligent Unit of the Force under the supervision of the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni.
The suspect is said to have carried out several high profile kidnapping operations in and outside the state before he was caught alongside his gang.
He was apprehended after a bounty of N30 million was placed on him by the police, who have been on his trail for a while now.
His house in the highbrow Magodo area of Lagos was raided by the police, where some items were allegedly seized.
In 2013, Evans was declared wanted after he allegedly masterminded the attempted kidnap of Mr Vincent Obianudo, a businessman who owns the popular the Young Shall Grow Motors.
The suspect was said to have carried out kidnapping operations for more than five years before he met his waterloo.
It was gathered that Evan and his gang keep their victim at House No 21, Prophet Asaye Close, New Igando, Lagos State until the ransoms are paid to him, which normally run into millions of Naira.
