A total of 10 cows have been donated to the General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla for the burial of the mother of the cleric.

The donation was made by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II and his wife, Olori Naomi Ogunwusi.

The prominent man of God commenced the burial rites of his mother, Deaconess Lasisi Iginla, on Friday, October 29, 2021, and will wrap up on Sunday, October 31, 2021, with a thanksgiving service in Ekiti State.

The gift of the cows is not the only Prophet Iginla has received for the occasion as he has received many more from different persons and groups.

Receiving the items from the paramount Yoruba monarch, the clergyman said he was surprised that the acclaimed father of the tribe could gift him the items for his mother’s burial.

He expressed gratitude to the Ooni of Ife and his wife for the huge honour bestowed upon him at such a moment like this, saying he was bewildered by such an expression of love.

He described the Ooni as an angel in human form, adding that he has shown to be an intelligent king who is extremely full of wisdom, a man of the people, a bridge maker, line crosser, barrier breaker and a lover of God and the youths.

According to him, he never expected to receive the gift from the traditional ruler even though he has always been a source of blessing to his ministry, praying that God will preserve him and his kingdom.

Recall that during the birthday of the cleric earlier this year, the Ooni surprised him by attending the Champions Royal Assembly with his wife.
