Tinubu Leaves Nigeria for Two-Week Vacation in France, UK

Tinubu 10 working days vacation

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday left the shores of Nigeria for a 10-working day annual vacation to be shuttled between France and the United Kingdom.

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, in a statement today, said his boss would be embarking on the working vacation for two weeks.

“President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja today, September 4, to commence a working vacation in Europe, as part of his 2025 annual leave.

“The vacation will last 10 working days.

“President Tinubu will spend the period between France and the UK and then return to the country,” the disclosure stated.

It was disclosed that Mr Tinubu was seen off by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr George Akume; the President’s Chief of Staff, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila; the Governor of Imo State, Mr Hope Uzodimma; the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Sanwo-Olu; the Minister of Finance, Mr Wale Edun; the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Mr Atiku Bagudu and others.

The President should be expected back into the country on or before Sunday, September 21, 2025.
