Activities at the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) were brought to a halt on Tuesday following industrial action embarked upon by employees of the agency.
The workers claimed management of the government agency has failed to honour an agreement entered into about 27 days ago.
The aggrieved members of staff of the commission alleged poor welfare condition as well as non-payment of their allowances.
During today’s demonstration, the workers prevented members of the public, who wanted to do business at the commission, from entering into the premises.
Some of them carried placard conveying different messages, calling on management of CAC to meet their demands.
The workers vowed to continue with their industrial action until their requests were met.
