Unity Kapital Assurance Appoints Awolola as CFO

Mr Olanrewaju Rotimi Awolola has been announced as the new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Unity Kapital Assurance Plc.

This information was made known today by the insurer in a statement signed by its Secretary/Legal Adviser, Halima Wushishi.

Mr Awolola’s appointment follows the resignation of Mr Olabode Okedun, as the Acting Chief Finance Officer of the firm.

Mr Awolola, a graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN).

Unity Kapital Assurance said Mr Awolola brings into the company his over 17 years’ experience in Audit and Accounting practice.

He is said to possess a strong command of IFRS accounting procedures and various accounting software such as Peachtree, SAP, PREMIA 10 etc, This has seen him receive numerous commendations along the course of his career.

Before joining Unity Kapital Assurance Plc, Mr Awolola served in various senior capacities at Cornerstone Insurance Plc and Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc.

He has attended various training programmes, courses and seminars at both local and regional levels.

Overnight Rate Drops to 10.17% as CBN Sells N100.84b T-Bills

CSCS Sinks NASD OTC Stocks by 0.37%
