The management of GTBank has disclosed that all its branches across the country will close earlier than the usual time on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

A notice sent to customers on Tuesday, however, said customers would still be able to carry out financial transactions via its various channels.

In the message sighted by Business Post, it was stated that all GTBank branches in Lagos will close for the day by 3pm, while those outside the state will shut their doors by 2pm.

Please be informed that on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, our branches in Lagos will close at 3pm and our branches outside Lagos will close at 2pm.

To access all of our banking services at anytime, please make use of our always-on alternative channels, the statement said.

Business Post gathered that the financial institution is closing for business early today to prepare for its audited half-year results.

GTBank and other banks audit their financial statements twice year, at June 30, and December 31 of every year.
