The role of mobile money in the Nigerian economy cannot be underestimated. Financial institutions have aligned with this and they are happy for it same as telecommunications companies, who are the channels for this.
Today, Friday, November 4, 2016, opportunities, challenges and threats of mobile money in Nigeria will form the major discuss at a conference organised by the Brand Journalists’ Association of Nigeria (BJAN) in Lagos.
Stakeholders in the Nigerian economy, especially from the CBN, NCC and banks, have been invited for the annual marketing conference, which holds at the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) House, Adeola Hopewell, adjacent Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos at 9am.
The theme for the event is ‘Mobile Money in Nigeria: Opportunities, Challenges and Threats’ and the Special Guest of Honour is the Lagos Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Steve Ayorinde.
Panel of discussants are Emeka Oparah, Emele Onu, Mojeed Jamiu, Sola Fijabi, Abdul Imoyo, Nduneche Ezurike, Shina Badaru, Sola Fanawopo, Charles Aigbe, Emmanuel Agha, Bolaji Akinboro, and Mitchell Elegbe, while the moderators are Muyiwa Akintunde, Bolaji Abimbola and Oludare Ogunyombo.
The event will be anchored by Mr Ikem Okuhu.
