ALGON President Greets Sultan at 63

The Sultan of Sokoto, Mr Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has been congratulated on the occasion of his 63rd birthday on Sunday, August 25, 2019.

National President of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Mr Alabi Kolade David, described the first class monarch as an exemplary leader who loves his country.

The ALGON boss, in the statement issued in Abuja through the organisation’s Media Office, further described the traditional ruler as a peaceful person, whose priority is mainly on Nigeria Unity and Prosperity.

According to him the “exemplary qualities and awesome leadership evident faith in the unity, peace, and prosperity of our noble nation Nigeria, have combined to make him one of the most highly respected monarchs in Nigeria today.”

“In view, I wish to on behalf of the entire 774 Local Government Chairmen in Nigeria congratulate you, and wish you many more years of sound health, joy and happiness as you continue to utilised your position to build and preach a prosperous and united Nigeria for all,” the custodian of culture said.

Mr Sa’ad Abubakar III is the President-General of Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), leader of the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) and the co-chairman of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC).

Power Minister Blames Fire Outbreak for National Grid Collapse

Employees Withdraw N2.18bn Pension Savings in Q3
