The former Governor of Delta State, Mr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has been wished many more years in good health of mind and body as he celebrates his 70th birthday.
The congratulatory message was sent by the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr Chiedu Ebie.
In the message signed by Mr Ebie’s media aide, Mr Jerome-Mario Utomi, the former governor was urged to view the day as strategically set aside by his creator to count his blessings and offer praises to God.
The trained medical doctor was described as an accomplished public officer who served as governor of Delta State from 2007 to 2015, where he appreciably contributed his quota towards the development of the state.
“As a former Governor, this historic day marks not only a great leap forward in age but also the beginning of a new vista for contributing towards collective development and realization of sustainable development of Delta as a state, the Niger Delta region and the nation in general.
“It also calls for introspection in your journey of life so far, with a view to counting your blessings and offering praises to your God’.
“As you, therefore, celebrate this day, on behalf of my family, members of the Governing Board and Management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), we congratulate you on your 70th birthday anniversary and wish you many more years in good health and sound mind,” the message issued on Tuesday and made available to newsmen said.
