Ghanaian movie star, Juliet Ibrahim, is to launch her own reality television series called ‘The Perfect Assistant (TPA).

A statement by her Publicist, Bunmi Odunowo, in Lagos on Saturday said the programme would kick off before the end of 2016.

TPA, according to Ms Ibrahim, is centred on her quest to discover young talents that can assist her on her daily enterprises.

The statement disclosed that scouting for contestants on the show will begin in September in Lagos (Nigeria) and Accra (Ghana).

“If you are above 18 years of age and believe you have what it takes to be ‘The Perfect Assistant’, Juliet would like to interview you. She invites you to contest by texting ‘TPA’ to 33050 in Nigeria for Lagos audition details,” Ms Odunowo said in the statement.

She further said, “For Accra, Ghana auditions, interested applicants should text ‘TPA’ to 1788. The producers of the show believe having a mix of talents from both countries would help competitiveness on the show and eventually produce the best candidate for Juliet.”

It was also pointed out in the statement that the Ghanaian actress plans to expand her brand across the continent extending opportunities to young and enthusiastic people from all regions of Africa. “We can really discover talents in business management and potential future executives through this show,” Ms Ibrahim was quoted in the statement to have said.

After integration, those tracks collapse into a single conversation.

Ellison’s pitch to regulators has to be that consumers benefit and competition survives in streaming, theatrical distribution, and sports broadcasting. If the deal closes, premium scripted content, live sports rights, and cable news distribution all land under one company.

What Oddsmakers and Prediction Markets Are Watching

Completion timelines for deals this size typically stretch six to twelve months past the shareholder vote. Wagering lines on the merger closing before the end of 2026 reflect a split opinion, with Polymarket traders pricing it at roughly 55%. Regulatory conditions could push the timeline into early 2027. Books pricing media-sector futures contracts beyond the close itself, including first quarterly earnings and the sports-rights renewal cycles that follow, have already started taking positions, which is the cleanest tell that the integration is being priced as something more than a paperwork formality. Contracts pricing tighter regulatory conditions, including potential divestitures or behavioral remedies, have started attracting their own volume.
