A veteran Nigerian actor, Mr Zulu Adigwe, has died, multiple reports say.
The Enugu-born actor and singer reportedly breathed his last some hours ago, though the cause of his death could not be immediately verified independently.
His demise was announced on Tuesday by a movie producer, Mr Stanley Nwoko, in an Instagram post, saying, “I regret to announce the passing on a veteran actor, Mr Zulu Adigwe. What caused his death [was] yet to be known. Rest in peace, good actor.”
Zulu Adigwe, best known for paternal roles in Nollywood movies, first achieved fame as Mr B in the now-rested sitcom, Basi and Company.
He also starred in some flicks like Kosiso: Voice of the Poor (2014), Chameleon (2018) and Love Gone Sour (2018), among others.
