Management of Diamond Bank has disclosed that its board of directors will hold a meeting on Thursday, March 9, 2017.
It was gathered that the meeting is to discuss the company’s audited financial statement for the year ended December 31, 2016.
At the meeting, which will hold in Lagos, the board is expected to approve the statement after several considerations. It was further learnt that other agenda items would be looked into by the board.
Meanwhile, in view of this, Diamond Bank has declared the closed period from February 22, 2017 to April 3, 2017 (both days inclusive) as required under Rule 17.2 of the amendment to Listing Rules of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
It said accordingly, “no director, employee, person discharging managerial responsibility and adviser of the company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly, deal in the shares of (Diamond Bank) in any manner during the closed period.”
