GTBank Board Meets for Q3’19 Results, Declares Closed Period

The board of directors of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) Plc will meet next month to consider the financial statements of the company for the period ended September 30, 2019.

This information was made known by the financial institution in a notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday, September 27, 2019.

In the disclosure, the bank said its board would gather precisely on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, promising to “notify you if the decisions reached after the said consideration.”

The company, in the notice today, explained that it made this disclosure in compliance with the post listing rules of the stock exchange’s regulatory agency for quoted companies.

In view of this, GTBank has announced that its closed period will commence on Monday, September 20, 2019, making it impossible for its top executives and their related persons to trade equities of the firm at the market.

In another notice, GTBank confirmed that, “We hereby inform you of the scheduled commencement of the closed period for trading in the bank’s shares on September 30, 2019, in respect of the unaudited financial statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019.”
