Two non-executive directors on the board of Notore Chemical Industries Plc, a statement from the company based in Rivers State has confirmed.
The two leaving the board of the fertiliser and agro-allied company are Mr Oluwaseyi Owodunni and Mr Olusoji Emiola.
The statement signed by the Group Chief Legal Officer/Company Secretary of Notore, Mrs Otivbo Saleh, disclosed that the duo resigned their appointments.
Though the reason for leaving the company was not state, the firm thanked them for their contributions to the board and wished them well in their future endeavours.
While Mr Owodunni joined the board of the company on July 29, 2016, Mr Emiola was appointed to the board on December 14, 2019.
“Notore Chemical Industries Plc hereby notifies the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the company’s shareholders and the investing public of the resignation of two members of its board of directors.
“Mr Oluwaseyi Owodunni joined the Board of the Company on 29th July 2016 and served on the Board as a non-executive Director for a period of over three years. Mr. Owodunni served on the Board Finance and Technical Committee.
“Mr Olusoji Emiola joined the board of the company on 14th December 2019 as a non-executive Director, and served on the Board Finance Committee.
“Accordingly, the Board has accepted their respective resignations and expressed its appreciation for their commitment and extensive contributions to the Company and wish them the very best in their future endeavours,” the statement said.
