NASD OTC Market Halts 3-Week Streak to Shed 1.67%

The positive trend recorded on the floor of the NASD OTC Market in the past three week came to an end this week.

This came as the NASD USI ended the week in red, depreciating by 1.67 percent to close at 663.22 points against 674.45 points last Friday.

Consequently, the total market capitalisation shed 1.67 percent this week, closing lower at N448.82 billion compared with N456.42 billion last Friday.

On the price movement chart, FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc emerged the highest price gainer, closing at N154 against its previous close of N150.10k.

On the other end, Niger Delta Exploration & Production Plc was the biggest price loser in the week, finishing at N140 in contrast to N146.08k it closed the last time.

Also, Central Securities Clearing System Plc finished at N               9.94k this week compared with N12 it closed in the previous session.
