A member of management of Kaduna Electric, Mr Temitope Owoeye, has been dismissed after he was found guilty of insubordination, indiscipline and gross misconduct.
Kaduna Electric, in a statement signed by its Head of Corporate Communication, Mr Abdulazeez Abdullahi, noted that Mr Owoeye was sacked following approval from the Board of Directors of the company after a disciplinary committee instituted to investigate found him guilty of the offenses.
The statement disclosed that the disengaged employee was its erstwhile Chief Corporate Services Officer and was sacked in order to forestall a breach in its operations and disruption of the harmonious working relationship among staff.
It was stated that a letter of dismissal was handed over to Mr Owoeye on Tuesday.
Mr Abdullahi said the company has zero tolerance for activities that undermine the firm and will continue to wield the big stick against staff who do not share in the vision of the company of building a responsible organization that aspires to give customers qualitative services.
He maintained that the management of Kaduna Electric felt it necessary to affirm the fact that all staff who deliberately violate laid down company policies were made to face the consequences no matter who they are.
