The management of Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services Limited (EMTS), trading as Etisalat Nigeria, has reassured its numerous customers of its commitment to continue to deliver quality services to them.
In a statement signed on Tuesday by its Vice President in charge of Regulatory & Corporate Affairs, Mr Ibrahim Dikko, the telecom firm with over 20 million subscribers described as “misleading” reports that its Experience Centres and outlets were being closed in some parts of the country.
The management emphasised that “all Etisalat offices, Experience Centres and outlets across Nigeria are in full operation and are providing services including customer care services on 24/7 basis.”
Mr Dikko assured customers and other stakeholders that “Etisalat Group’s reported withdrawal of the right to the continued use of the Etisalat brand in Nigeria by EMTS does not in any way imply discontinuation of our business as Nigeria’s fourth largest mobile service provider.”
According to him, Etisalat Nigeria reiterates its unwavering commitment to delivery of quality services and commitment to continuously empowering all segments of Nigeria through the development and roll-out of innovative products, services and solutions that help individuals, businesses and organisations solve their everyday problems.
While thanking the GSM service provider’s customers, stakeholders and the media for their unalloyed support, Mr Dikko assured that details of the ongoing discussions on the brand name would be made known to all as soon as they were concluded.
